Das Israel-Büro der Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung sucht Verstärkung, um progressive deutsche, europäische & globale Diskurse & linke Kämpfe mit ihren Pendants in Israel zu verlinken. Möchten Sie, möchtest Du Teil unseres Teams in Tel Aviv werden?

 

The Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung (RLS), Israel Office, is looking for:

A Project Manager, 50% position

As of August 1st 2017.

 

Main tasks include:

  • Actively participating in conceptualizing and planning the office’s programs
  • Maintaining and expanding contacts of the RLS with Israeli actors with a special focus on grass-root activism, anti-militarism, feminism
  • Planning, monitoring, administrating, reporting, and evaluating projects with partners
  • Linking local struggles with struggles of the German, European, global left
  • Initiating and implementing own RLS measures and projects

Our Requirements:

  • Thorough understanding of the political and socioeconomic situation in Israel with special focus on grass-root activism, anti-militarism, feminism
  • In-depth knowledge of Israel’s leftwing discourses, groups/actors, history
  • Extensive knowledge of and contacts with Israel’s civil society, institutions, political actors
  • In-depth understanding of global leftwing discourses
  • Ability, willingness and proactive approach to network with leftwing players in Israel and abroad; existing network capacities a plus
  • Commitment to the values and ideals of the RLS
  • Experience in working with partners and in project management
  • Ability to conceptualize, organize, draft and edit texts on a high level (reports, minutes, analyses etc.)
  • Mother-tongue level Hebrew and/or German
  • Excellent knowledge of English highly important
  • Arabic a plus
  • Common computer skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Ability to work in a small team
